ANOTHER SORT OF TURTLE

Another sort of turtle–

at the bottom of a pool

lies still, watching.

A very old soul is he.

He used to race about,

giddy in his youth:

doing this and trying that

urged onward by his lust for life.

But stillness is a virtue.

And awareness is a gift.
